Well Dylan is just keeping up the family tradition!! He was jumping on the trampoline today with his cousins all 5 of them and they were being rather safe all in all however the bigger ones bounced before the smaller ones landed shooting Dylan upside down and causing him to land with all of his weight onto his arm!! Both of the bones (radius and ulna :) are completely snapped into! When we do it we do it right!! The family tradition I am referring to was... when I was in the 1st grade I was jumping on my grandmaws recliner & jumped more like dove onto her couch (sorry no trampoline had to make my own) and I broke the same arm the very same way; kinda scary!!
Well here is the x-ray the tech printed them out so Dylan could show his class next week...

OUCHHH! Sorry to hear about your broken arm Dylan, but I am glad you were not hurt worse. You sure are a trooper even in what I'm sure was complete pain, you manage to give us a little smile. Hope to see ya Sunday!

Ouch! I hope he gets to feeling better. I am wondering if he is happy or on pain killers in that picture??

Tobie got a buckle fracture in his wrist and he was loving the attention from the cast. I hope he has a painless recovery!
It looks like you all had a fun holiday season, at least up until Dylan's accident. Merry New Year and Happy Christmas. It looks so warm there, we are being frozen up here in Indiana.
Awww. That poor little buddy. Looking at the x-ray gives me the eebie jeebies. Isn't it amazing that the body can heal from an injury like that? Take care...
