1st annual Newburn family reunion

okay this is as many as we could get into one pic!!
from left to right starting at the top left: Jessica & Scott(#5), Jonathan(#8), Dewayne(#3), Kimberly(#7), Proud Mom & Dad, Baby Asher & Corley, Me, Deanna(#4), Alexus & Parker, Dylan & Bryanna. Whew i guess 4 out of the 8 kids, and 5 out of 8 g'kids isnt too bad!!We tried!! Were hoping next year we can hopefully all make it for a grand pic on the beach better luck next year!

Here is talented ol' Corley tickling the ivory. We figured since we wouldnt get to all get together again until next year we would have Christmas in July with the g'kiddies they had a blast decorating the tree and opening presents, & we all loved mom's chicken and dressin and awesome pies yummie!!

Here is Scott (aka Phase 10 King) and Jessica getting in some practice!!) Scott just returned from Iraq this summer and was part of the reason we all got this started to welcome him back we're glad he returned safely home and Jessica is too!! Asher is sooo funny look at that face!! Gotta luv it!

Well the kids have definitely had so much fun playing all day and night and to top it all off they all got to go visit the only one of the girls that wasnt able to join us Aunt Karen in Orlando YES!! they are in florida right this very moment having fun at disney world with there g'parents and aunties

Good Eatin'

My Aunt Sissy even joined in the newburn nuttiness and whipped up some yummy grilled hamburgers and potato salad and scrumptious strawberry and blueberry pies whew it was great! You gotta luv gettin together and havin a good ole cook out!!

Darrell & Renee's visit!!

These two little munkins(aka tornados) got along great! It was so great getting them together and getting to finally meet little Turner he is so precious!

Well on a boat date we got to the launch, to go boating and my graceful behind slipped and busted my ankle all up (it was pretty bad I popped an oyster shell out of the concrete and it was just jagged enough to scoop a quarter sized 1/2 inch deep wound from my ankle~not only am I graceful but just so darn lucky what are the odds!!) but luckily I was with a ole EMS, & ER fanatic and a Fire medic!!! ;0 the boys were really great and very prepared so they had everything to clean my flesh wound and patched me on up and off we went! I was not going to ruin the night they were only here for a short trip and this was the only go at it we were gonna get...FYI I did get a x-ray(not broke), tetnus shot(ouch!), and antibiotics(YUCK!)by monday! Never a dull moment!!

Well you know we just had to take Dare and Nay on the SS Bubba for a boat date we had a blast and the boys got to get in some night fishin while me and Renee got to catch up some! Darrell looked so at home fishing on the SS Bubba, it was really great to get to spend sometime with them its been awhile! We hope this will be many more times to come! We love yall and miss you already!!

WOW what a kodak moment the Bubba, Big Bertha, and the boys Quad broke down all in one pic I think there has to be a redneck joke for this one! Wee Doggie! Thanks Darrell for fixing the boys Quad you rock!!!

4TH OF JULY!!

Nope its not the Prom

Well we got to attend my 10th reunion this weekend
boy was that an experience some changed and looked
great some changed alot... and some looked exactly the
same!
It was really great to see everyone and we had
a really great turn out I was impressed!
So when we got back home (where I left the camera) we
took a quick pic and Dewayne said I feel like its the prom again!
(I thought, Umm not even close pal that was over 10 dress sizes ago along with the years!!)
It is crazy how fast time flies when your having fun!!

Stone Mountain

We got to visit the park during the day and got to ride a train and go to a huge barn for the boys that was full of fun stuff for them to do we also rode the sky lift to the top of the mountain and it was amazing!! That night we of course stayed for a picnic and saw the grand finale with the laser lights and fireworks show!!

Surf and Turf in Atlanta!!

We got to catch a bite and catch up with Troy one of my best buds from growing up at church and highschool it was great to see him!!
We met up at this awesome place downtown called chow baby's it was soooo good!!!

Best of all the boys sacked out after the aquarium so we really got to have a stress-free lunch!!

The Georgia Aquarium WOW!!

My Aunt Wanda recently moved to Atlanta so we took the boys up to visit and we hit the new aquarium it was awesome and I think we enjoyed it more than the boys did we loved it!!
