UNCLE DARRELLs FIRESTATION

Okay the boys LOVED getting to see where Darrell works who wouldn't it was amazing the boys got to see all the stuff in the firetruck and Darrell was so awesome to explain everything and let them really check it all out

Even down to getting into full get up and sweat to death for his nephews that absolutely adore him he even had Parker run to him and pick him up and swing him around and we showed him how if their is a fire he is who you go to in an emergency and not to run or be afraid of a fireman he was your best friend it was really neat to get to do that

and if that wasn't enough he even let Dylan dress out in the full get up attire
so look at this face is he proud or what

TOO FUNNY... thanks Dare we had a blast you are definitely the coolest!!

We made it YAY!!

It was a great thing seeing this beatiful sign!!

So we woke up on our first day the sun was shinning it was a beautiful day out...we were excited to see the saguaro catus everywhere they are so amazing it takes like sixty years for them to even start one arm bud so that says how old one like this is really old one!

So this is where we live, Oro Valley its right outside of Tucson, AZ the mountains are apart of the Catalina State Park that are basically in our backyard how awesome is that we are located just left of this pic on the foothills

So we woke up the first morning around 6am to Dewayne doubled over in pain and I have known this man for over ten years and I have seen him in tons of pain and he has a huge tolerance for pain but when I woke up and he was absolutely overwhelmed and balling in pain until it overcame him so much that he was sick with pain we figured why not its almost been over 6 to 8 weeks since weve been at the hospital!! So we were off Darrell his brother came straight over after getting off of running on calls as a fire medic all nite was able to help Jonathan give Dewayne a blessing and we were quick to get him some help. They took one look at him and brought him right back he got progressivly worse we were glad we had taken him and then as soon as we got him back into a room BAM it was much better but he still wasn't able to lay down and as soon as the ER doc came in he took one look at him and said the only time a grown man is in tears, pukin, and not able to lay down can only be one thing a KIDNEY STONE sooo he was hooked up to IV fluids and a cocktail of pain killers along with a CT to in fact confirm that yes indeed he was the proud owner of a brand new 2mm stone that he had just birthed into his bladder as he was coming into the ER!! Crazy for one thank goodness we still had coverage until umm that day the 10th! Another this wouldve stunk to have been out on the road with the uhaul trailer and been stuck not really knowing what to do! He was really fine after this and we were so glad it had nothing to do with his previous surgery from maybe doing too much lifting from the move WHEW talk about dodging a bullet and what a blessing for it to have happened if it had to when it did!
