Well last friday we took Dylan for a series of test to find the source of his asthma attacks! This was the pulmonary function test and when he blew as hard as he could into this machine there was a monitor showing him that he was bowling and the harder he blew the closer he would get to knocking down the pins! Not to mention how funny he sounded when he talked with his nose pinched off he sounded like Urcle it was hillarious!
Finally the last of the tests were a allergy test which thank goodness was only a scratch test not needles and as you can see he did pretty great 17 was mold and 25 the doctor said was TV and that we would need to gather up all the TVs in our home and place them on the porch and he would send for them to be p/u to which Dylan quickly responded uh oh No way! too funny!
Overall it was a informative day we found that the root to all of the flair ups were cause by simple REFLUX and it induces a muscle spasm in the throat that causes the asthma and croup and he just placed him on zantac and hopefully that will be that!
But the best part was that Dylan would definitely grow out of it so that was hopeful to say the least!
So afterwards since Dylan didn't even cry and was good we decided it was time we had a just Dylan day and celebrate his 4-A's on his progress report by going to build a bear but when we told Dylan that it was gonna be just us he said Oh no we have to go by and p/u Parker and Aunt Sissy I want them to go too!!! soo sweet!

I'm so happy that they may have found a source to his asthma. My doctor in Mobile had you blow out candles on a birthday cake or blow the planets out of the universe. I hate that he was so allergic to TVs!
I'm too am glad they found out what was wrong with Dylan. Nothing makes a mom go more crazy than not knowing what is making her child sick.
Ariel took the same test when she was about three (they thought she had asthma, but didn't. That's a LONG story though). She also took the allergy test, but hers were all negative. WOW--#25 was really red. HA, HA to the TV--if that was it here we would have to through in the DS's too. Too funny.
