Dylan's Bad Night!

Well as you can see we got Dylan his first bike (below) and he had a blast but last night we were woken up @ 3am to him in a full asthma attack caused by a virus croup. He has had croup in the past like a total of 5 times but this time it was much worse we didn't even feel we had time to call 911 so we jumped into the car with him only in his underwear, Dewayne drove 115mi/hr literally to the hospital and we got there in 5 min for a usually 15 min drive (that's what you get for marring a old ambulance driver, living the glory days) we got there and it was definitely sketchy for a while it took them over 30min to an hour to finally get him stable (it seemed like days) It was the worst episode he has ever had we were totally freaked out when he woke us up he was able to gasp but the esophagus was so tightly closed that he was smothering on his own air (like holding your breath for 30 min~ like a fish out of water) anyways we prayed and prayed he would be alright wouldn't have to stay and be able to just come home but they started an IV line this time and he didn't even have the strength to fight & he was throwing up do to the anxiety of it all it was definitely the scariest night of our lives. He is much better they were able to after a horse's dose of meds let us return home and we all crashed out at about 6am! This morning he seems fine and has been beggin to go ride his bike :~ whew life is crazy isnt it?!
